Did not MI5 or MI6 once hang out in 55 Broadway Building? I vaguely remember that they did. --Tagishsimon

Interesting if it is true, but perhaps the stained grey stone just looks that way. MI6 now has a flamboyant landmark building, but I seem to recall that MI5 had, or still has, a building closer to Westminster which is notable for having no windows on the ground floor. It has the air of a closed down, derelict bingo hall. -- Solipsist 21:25, 6 Oct 2004 (UTC)
MI5 used to occupy said premises in Curzon Street, not far from Berkeley Square. The exterior is exactly as described, above. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.244.127.112 (talk) 19:49, 12 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
MI6 occupied Broadway Buildings at No. 54 Broadway opposite the London Underground headquarters from 1924 to 1966. Broadway Buildings was later occupied by London Underground as overspill from the main building. DavidCane 01:00, 13 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

LU won't have vacated the building until 2017 as it is a hub for many company communications and this cabling and data destination will need to be re-routed. The building to which they are due to vacate - in Stratford - has not yet be completed and therefore no move will take place until it is ready.
