Wouldn't it be appropriate to mention AOC tweeting his poem when she learned that she was given 1 minute to speak at the 2020 Democratic Convention?[edit]

I only have a minute, sixty seconds in it, Forced upon me, I did not choose it But I know that I must use it Give account if I abuse it Suffer if I lose it Only a tiny little minute But Eternity is in it. WordwizardW (talk) 08:35, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry—I didn't quote it quite correctly (perhaps AOC's memory was faulty?), and AOC was not the first to quote it; the late US Representative Elijah Cummings recited it as well.

I have only just a minute,

Only sixty seconds in it.

Forced upon me, can’t refuse it.

Didn’t seek it, didn’t choose it.

But it’s up to me

to use it.

I must suffer if I lose it.

Give account if I abuse it.

Just a tiny little minute,

but eternity is in it.

Picture with Bob kennedy at the White House[edit]

On commons, the person on the right of Kennedy is identified as Roy Wilkins, not Benjamin Mays... Could somebody confirm ? Regards Cymbella (talk) 12:12, 13 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
