Michael warning[edit]

This article is fine, so I'm going to take the Michael warning off. Andre 07:31, 8 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Track list[edit]

Any reason why each song in the track list says Alex is the lead singer? --Anthony5429 03:05, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

...apart from "Tell Her Tonight". I'm guessing someone thought it would be a good idea to put that in, but it seems more sensible just to put something like "All songs sung by Alex Kapranos except where noted" as its 10/11 tracks he sings. This lead vocals thing seems more suited to a band like The Libertines with Pete and Carl sharing out the vocals more. -Ally 12:52, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Franz-Ferdinand.PNG[edit]

Image:Franz-Ferdinand.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Live at The Paradiso, Amsterdam[edit]

I feel like it is redundant to have Live at The Paradiso, Amsterdam after every track title on the live cd section, when in the header it says that all songs are recorded Live at The Paradiso, Amsterdam, so I'm taking them off unless anyone has objections. Source for sales figures?[edit]

Do we have a reliable source for the total sales figures of 3.6 million? The Guardian spreadsheet only confirms the 1.27 million UK sales, as far as I can see.

Until we find something, I will mark the 3.6 million as "citation needed".

Japan Disk Version?[edit]

There seems to be a Japan version of the album. It has the following tracks on it:

1. Jacqueline
2. Tell Her Tonight
3. Take Me Out
4. The Dark of the Matinée
5. Auf Achse
6. Cheating on You
7. This Fire
8. Darts of Pleasure
9. Michael
10. Come on Home
11. 40'
12. Van Tango
13. Shopping for Blood
14. All for You, Sophia
15. Words So Leisured

With tracks 12-15 being marked as bonus tracks. I do not know the proper way to fill this into the page, so please someone do and delete this thread. Thanks. 14.3.199.144 (talk) 04:38, 30 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
