Hi, I don't suppose you know the source and copyright details for this photo:

? Thanks. — Matt Crypto 16:17, 23 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Sorry. I have taken it from some Russian site, so {{unverified}}. --ajvol 18:57, 23 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Cmapm 17:16, 4 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Moscow map[edit]

Hi, Ajvol. Thanks for the new map of Moscow administrative divisions; this new version looks much cleaner. Say, is there an easy way the okrugs on that map could be renumbered? It's not that big of a deal, but I try keeping them in alphabetical order (based on English names, of course); plus, the rest of the articles in this series are done that way. Also, you removed the numbering from the list, so it's now not immediately clear which okrug on the map corresponds to which section (unless you count them manually :)). Thanks!—Ëzhiki (ërinacëus amurënsis) 23:30, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I only have added this map to the article. Many thanks to commons:User:Panther, creator of the map (it's part of commons:Category:Moscow districts on map of Moscow project). Contact him at ru:User_talk:Panther --ajvol 10:11, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I'll contact him there.—Ëzhiki (ërinacëus amurënsis) 13:19, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your voting![edit]

Thanks!
Thanks!

Hi, thanks for your voting on my RFA. It has finished with the result 88/14/9, and I am promoted. I am really overwhelmed with the amount of support I have got. With some of you we have edited many articles as a team, with some I had bitter arguments in the past, some of you I consider to be living legends of Wikipedia and some nicks I in my ignorance never heard before. I love you all and I am really grateful to you.

If you feel I can help you or Wikipedia as a human, as an editor or with my newly acquired cleaning tools, then just ask and I will be happy to assist. If you will feel that I do not live up to your expectation and renegade on my promises, please contact me. Maybe it was not a malice but just ignorance or a short temper. Thank you very much, once more! abakharev 07:34, 24 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Andronikov minster.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Andronikov minster.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MECUtalk 01:51, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Laika first living being in space fairuse.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Laika first living being in space fairuse.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
