Time to actually do something[edit]

Can some update update this LANL page? The following are incorrect or out of date: LANL's mission, logo, science pillars, and most of the numbers in the "Institutional statistics" section. The correct numbers are on the Lab's linked 'facts and figures' page. 15:26, 8 Jun 2022 (MST)

If no one objects, I'm going to remove the mentioned section tonight. There was some discussion of this the better part of a year ago, but nothing was done. Maury 13:05, 22 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Missing topics[edit]

I added a "missing" tag as a range of pertinent topics were not adequately covered in this article:

Activities of peace advocates. See "Peace activists descend on Los Alamos, but residents remain indifferent", New York Times, 2015; "Hiroshima Los Alamos protest planned", Washington Times, 2014.
Wildfire. See "LANL under siege from raging wildfire" The Telegraph, 2011.
James Doyle. See "Did Los Alamos fire a researcher for questioning U.S. nuclear doctrine?" LA Times, 2014.
General topics. See "In the shadow of Los Alamos", American Scientist, 2007; Joseph Masco, The Nuclear Borderlands: The Manhattan Project in Post-Cold War New Mexico, Princeton University Press, 2006. Johnfos (talk)
