AMD64[edit]

Good idea on the merge. The only objection I can think if is that one could claim "AMD64" is the architecture and "Athlon 64" is an instance of it in product form, as with "IA64" versus "Itanium". That might be worth writing as a separate "Athlon 64" article (and a separate "Opteron" article and so on). Although I can't be bothered, so I can hardly require you to ;-) - David Gerard 21:40, 17 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
