I feel a list of this nature is necessary in terms of current events. Please add/amend.

War on Terrorism[edit]

since there is length discussion of the various denials and semantic objections to the fact and the term "War on Terrorism" at the relevant article, should it not be listed here, regardless of whether it is a statist conspiracy or a real threat?

Turkey and Haiti[edit]

I doubt that these countries are currently involved in war. Sarcelles 23:36, 24 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I believe that for Turkey they would be refering to Turkey's occupation of the northern portion of Cyprus. As for Haiti one may call the coup/regime change/whatever has gone on there as a Civil War of some sort as there are still forces trying to fight for Aristide. --Gmsimmon 19:29, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Liberia[edit]

Here there is no war mentioned in the relevant article Liberia.

War on Terror[edit]

This is either less than a war or a series of wars. Sarcelles 00:12, 3 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Syria[edit]

Isn't Syria officially also in a state of war against Israel? - Rune Welsh 23:52, May 2, 2005 (UTC)

Algeria, Burma, Laos[edit]

These are some of the countries mentioned as being in a state of war, that lack names of wars in this article. This is a severe lack in an article, that is already at zero. Sarcelles 00:30, 3 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Unnamed wars[edit]

Several wars registered here don't have a name on the list. Sarcelles 09:49, 3 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • Algeria
  • Burma
  • Iraq
  • Indonesia
  • Laos
  • Peru
  • Sri Lanka

These countries currently are on the list of the countries in a state of war not elsewhere mentioned in the article. They either should lose mention on this list or be named mentioning a current war. Sarcelles 19:07, 3 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Lists after the first one[edit]

There should be no additional lists of copuntries with UN forces and countries in a state of war. This doesn't really fit to the title. Sarcelles 22:23, 11 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Congo[edit]

In the article on thi swar it says, that it was a war and not is. Should it be excluded ? Sarcelles 08:28, 5 Jun 2005 (UTC)
