Find correct name The airport is not listed as João Paulo II anywhere. The airport's own website calls itself simply Ponta Delgada, and has no mention of João Paulo.

Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).

Ossonoba[edit]

I am not sure about this, so I would like to hear confirmation from anyone, but I believe Faro was founded by Phoenicians (and it was them who gave it the name Ossonoba, meaning warehouse in Phoenician). During Roman times it was already called Ossonoba, so I seriously doubt it was the Moors who called it Ossonoba.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.23.105.69 (talk)

Division in 2 pages[edit]

It does not make any sense to have a page for "Faro Municipality" and another to "Faro, Portugal"! All big cities have just one page. Should we divide Lisbon as well? We must have a coherent criteria. Of course Faro municipality's villages are many, but they can be referred in Faro's page.
