Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bitmunk Download Client

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The very latest peer-to-peer network. Not yet released. Advertising, IMO. Been speedy deleted twice that I can see, but it just keeps popping up. - Kenwarren 20:24, Jul 29, 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete - advert - 2 google hits total - Tεxτurε 20:26, 29 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • Bitmunk should be deleted for the same reason. - Tεxτurε 20:29, 29 Jul 2004 (UTC)
    • Good point. Bitmunk has also been speedy deleted at least once. I think one of the articles might be welcome, once it's released and has some good press, but it's just hit public beta!- Kenwarren 20:34, Jul 29, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete both, promotion of something that barely appears to exist. -- Cyrius| 06:22, 30 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • Yay, 105 Google hits for bitmunk. Delete substub/free advertisement. I would not be opposed to adding a script to MediaWiki that scanned any anonymous user's first edit for HTTP URLs, and then warned them that the Wikipedia was not an appropriate place for advertisements before allowing them to commit. --Ardonik 04:13, Jul 31, 2004 (UTC)
