Background[edit]

What is Zubrin's background and education? Where did he get his degrees and where did he work as an engineer? Just curious.

According to this site [1] he has a B.A. degree in mathematics from the University of Rochester, a M.S. in Nuclear engineering, a M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics, and a Ph.d in Nuclear engineering, all from the University of Washington. He worked as a senior and staff engineer at Lockheed Martin (formerly Martin Marrieta)

Better Image?[edit]

The image of Zubrin makes him look like a madman, or a MySpace user. Could someone please find/take a better image?

I think it's a perfect representation of his persona. LaRouche connection?[edit]

Why was the LaRouche connection removed on March 22nd?

For those who are interested, the referred to edit is here, and evidently it was removed by an IP user without any reason given. However, an assertion like this should always be supported with a citation, so the IP was right and entirely within Wikpedia policy to remove it; in fact, policy demands this even more decidedly so in an article like this than others per WP:BLP. --Florian Blaschke (talk) 19:45, 29 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I went to high school with Robert Zubrin. He graduated Great Neck North High School in 1970. Great Neck, New York.

In the case there is intelligent life in Mars, and superior to ours, I hope they will think Zubrin's biocentric enough.

Frank Black, etc[edit]

I notice somebody just added a claim that Frank Black wrote a song about Zubrin, and cited the lyrics as a source; I scoffed. Wrongly, as it turns out. I couldn't find a good citation that he wrote the song about Zubrin, and the lyrics clearly require some interpretation. But Frank Black listed it as one of his top 5 books. Climate change denial[edit]

Zubrin appears to fit the criteria for climate change denial. He appears to believe that global warming is not anthropomorphic and that global warming is beneficial - it makes crops grow faster. Shouldn't Zubrin's views be added?

Cite templates will be used where possible.
While I would prefer capitalization and punctuation to follow the standard cataloguing rules in AACR2 and RDA, the Wikipedia Manual of Style at WP:MOS requires "title case".
ISBNs and other persistent identifiers, where available, are commented out, but still available for reference.
Links to potentially unreliable digitised copies may be removed.

Added citation needed to this claim:

"The work of the Mars Society was successful enough as to encourage the US Government to not cut funding for several Mars rover missions."
