Sorry but I just have to say that last bit is hilarious. I dropped out of high school when I was 16 and took my GED, a test that was supposed to take me two days, in approximately 2 hours. That test is meant to be TOTALLY basic and truly is oriented towards foreign adults who do not have an American high school education. So the idea that this young man is "attempting" to obtain one is hilarious to me.

You mean I didn't need to go to high school all along?! Brendan62442 19:30, 15 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Trust me, a high school diploma is worth A LOT more than a GED.
The GED is not a joke and in theory is supposed to be the equivalent of a high school diploma. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GED I can see how it might be funny the way it's put though, since "attempting" makes it sound like it's a college-quality exam.

we need an updated picture[edit]

problems[edit]

1. "Stones"? Change it to units the rest of English speaking world understands. 2. Way too much editorialisation. War (talk) 05:21, 31 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Citizenship[edit]

According to his Twitter feed he is an American citizen.

Since Jack, his sisters Aimee and Kelly and father Ozzy and mother Sharon were all born in the United Kingdom they retain their UK citizenship regardless that they are now U.S. citizens, as does Monty Python alum John Cleese who has been a U.S. citizen for many years, this is per British law that a British subject retains his citizenship in the United Kingdom regardless of his status of citizenship in another country. Actors William Shatner, Dan Ackroyd, Mike Myers and singer Celine Dion are all now U.S. citizens BUT under Canadian law they still retain their Canadian citizenship, its called Dual citizenship and while a U.S. citizen legally can't hold citizenship in another country while being a U.S. citizen it is very common in Europe and Commonwealth countries as well as certain countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East to have dual citizenship while being an American citizen. Hope this information helps. IKnowTheWayToSanJose (talk) 05:10, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Jack is not his legal name...[edit]

His legal name is John taken after his father Ozzy's legal name and although they don't share the same middle so he is not a Jr., his first name John is his legal name and Jack is his professional name, can we please correct this without opening controversy.
