This article needs a clear, non-add description of the system and it's differences from other Systems.--Circeus 23:25, 11 Dec 2004 (UTC)

"Beyond limiting bonuses, Power Level does nothing to restrict a character's power; a power level 10 character can have a maximum Strength of 40, whereas normal d20 characters would be lucky to have a single 20-rated score at 10th level."

Someone hasn't been eating their Munch-O's. Such a d20 character is monster feed.

They're also somewhat wrong -- a PL 10 character in Mutants & Masterminds 2E can only have a Strength of 30 (barring certain Trade-Offs). And I've never had a 10th level D&D char with more than one score above 20. Dr Archeville 11:05, 17 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Having just perused the new 3rd edition ruleset, I can clearly inform you that it is really very much like the old Mayfair MEGS system now. It's strange, but it's like once they knew they had the DC license, they just cut-n-pasted MEGS rules. Weird. 192.44.136.113 (talk) 17:02, 6 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
