User:Joinee Brake

"Joinee" isn't my actual name (Simon is), but since I came here to spread word (or at least accurately write up a description of Join Me, The Karma Army and Danny Wallace) I've used Joinee as my prefix. That said, it's about time I amended this to Gold Joinee. It won't make a hell of a lot of difference to people on this site, but people on the related sites will understand the meaning.

Nice to see that Gold Joinee James Frost also checks in on Wikipedia... :-)

After making a few entries, discovering that my brief description for Danny Wallace, which was very tongue in cheek, had been deleted as being an advert, I acknowledged the more serious nature of the site, and wrote up a proper description.

I think this project's really cool, and love dipping into it. Although I'm mainly keeping an eye on the above entries to keep them up to date. Also to avoid the attentions of people like Atlantis Aten, the main pseudonym of a person who harasses the Join Me forums, who also stuck his 'Do It' link on the wikipedia Join Me page courtesy of the address 195.92.168.169, which I am also now keeping a close eye on. I've put entries for South Wimbledon and Morden in, where I grew up, and having collected lots of books over the years, I intend to spend time on Wikiquotes at some stage...

I'm also a big fan of Chris Morris styled humour, and have spent a lot of time recently listening to downloads of On the Hour and Blue Jam. Which doesn't quite mesh with the being kind thing, but then I'm not two dimensional...

In unrelated news, my girlfriend is had a baby in January, 2005, and we now both live in Chester.
