SPAMMING EXTERNAL LINKS[edit]

A lot of people spamming the wikipedia. www.westernblotting.org and biologicalworld.com for example has spammed the following pages:

  • en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gel_electrophoresis
  • en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cell_membrane
  • en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coomassie
  • en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bradford_protein_assay
  • en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blot_(biology)
  • en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fluid_mosaic_model
  • en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polyacrylamide_gel_electrophoresis
  • en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slot_blot
  • en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cell-surface

And many others I got tired of pasting. For sites of very few pages, there is very little information from this site for users especially a made for adsense site. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sciencetalks (talkcontribs) 02:26, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Protein assay[edit]

It would be nice to have a wiki page discussing pros and cons of all the various assays if anyone is up for it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.232.173.26 (talk) 14:18, 17 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Standard Curve Constructed with BSA[edit]

Bradfrod assay is more sensitive to serum albumin including BSA and human serum proteins. I understand there are inherent variabilities in dye binding between different proteins, however it would be better to avoid using BSA as a standard. I have removed mentions to BSA. Subjective?[edit]

What does it mean for the assay to be "subjective"? Wouldn't "non-quantitative" be more precise? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.246.2.62 (talk) 19:11, 26 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Edits recently made[edit]

This is to advise that I have added a citation in regards to the usage of 595 nm as a wavelength when making absorbance readings when applying the Bradford method (AnthonyFernandez65 (talk) 03:52, 6 December 2020 (UTC))[reply]
