I thnk the page is exellent, but I will move the school logo to a seperate part of the page, because it looks a bit silly. Mollsmolyneux 18:02, 8 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Archbishop Temple School[edit]

Yo. I probably should have been more specific. The voice of the article could be a bit more formal. Right now it's worded loosely and reads like a personal web page or the school's website. It's not in dire need of cleanup, but it isn't likely to improve and become Good or Featured at this point. So, feel free to take off the tag — the cleanup backlog can always be smaller! - Corbin 1 ɱ p s ɔ Rock on, dude! 14:31, 13 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Confusion[edit]

I know who you are Jack Robinson. Now tell me boy, how can you both be bisexual and heterosexual at the same time? You are severely confusing to both yourself and to others. If you are in Year 9 and are 13 years old how can you be studying for GCSE's now? I understand you have taken your Maths GCSE on the 12th of June but no other subject. Oh and well done for having no interest in video games but enjoying playing games on your graphing calculator.

Jeff[edit]

In reply to preson who wrote the above letter, Jack is a genius at Maths and only very good at other subjects, so he only took Maths GCSE. As for the videogame thing, no. NO. No. No. Videogames are the glue of intelligent society, both a relief and a passion. Finally, Jack does sound like a bit of a nerd here, but in reality he really is a sound guy. He isn't confusing, just a dude (not as in a camels genitles). P.S. I'm assuming you are 18+ as you referred to him as 'boy' so why the poo do you care about his private affairs and sexuality?

A Big Push[edit]

As a member of WikiProject Dad's Army you must do your bit for the big push, see the project talk page for more details. I expect everyone to create at least one page, or write one plot. Thank you for your help up til now and for all your help in the future. Mollsmolyneux 15:11, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, but i've finished by fuse tester and have nothing else to do. Also you wouldn't be editing unless I had put the {{unblock}} template on the IPs talk page because a very kind admin changed the unblock so that users could edit. --Mollsmolyneux 11:07, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Recently, you said you would be interested in joining a WikiProject on BBC Sitcoms. This project is now active and if you would like to help with it please express your interest on the project talk page, if not please remove your name from the list of participants section on the project main page. I have thought that every month or so we should concentrate on one project, I have yet to think of one for January. If you are interested please leave an idea for what sitcom would be best, on the project talk page. Thankyou Mollsmolyneux 16:18, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think that three sitcoms (Bloomers (TV series), Brush Strokes, The Liver Birds) suggested by Berks105 would be a good place to start for January. What do you think? Which one should we concentrate on? Please post comments on the BBC Sitcoms talk page. Mollsmolyneux 19:10, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

List of famous Prestonians[edit]

I've changed to name "List of Prestonians" to List of famous Prestonians. I don't like editing people's User page without permission, you should update the link name on your own User page. I felt the title could have meant anyone from Preston being added to the list. I've alphabetised the list by letter and some minor editing. Cwb61 (talk) 13:57, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Dividedloyalties.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Dividedloyalties.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 10:43, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Jawr256! You were named as a participant in the WikiProject BBC Sitcoms. Due to inactivity, and with the permission of Mollsmolyneux this has now been made a task force of WikiProject BBC.

Please come and take a look at the new page at BBC Sitcoms task force.

I hope you'll continue to contribute to the work of the new taskforce. If you are no longer interested in participating in the task force please strike out your name in the list. Thanks very much.

Disputed non-free use rationale for Image:Dividedloyalties.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:Dividedloyalties.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 00:19, 19 September 2008 (UTC) [reply]

A tag has been placed on Big Ear, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. (See section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Wikipedia has standards for the minimum necessary information to be included in short articles; you can see these at Wikipedia:Stub. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
  • It is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. (See section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Wikipedia has standards for the minimum necessary information to be included in short articles; you can see these at Wikipedia:Stub. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
