"Under his reign the Visigoths were enemies of the Roman Empire"

Something tells me this isn't right since the Visigoths aided the Romans in the Battle of Chalons. Anyone know more about this?

Theodorid was the illegitimate son of Alaric? Where does that come from? I know they were from the same clan, but I didn't think their exact relationship was ever specified.
