Vulnerable Native Breed[edit]

This breed is classed in Britain as a VNB - a breed which originated in the UK but now has registration numbers with the Kennel Club of less then 300 puppies per year.

I'm a Canadian teenager on a gap year before Uni and I'm really interested in this. Would anyone like a VNB paragraph/link on this page? I can write it, but am ignorant about formatting etc. Plus, I'm trying to put together a whole collection on all 29 breeds on this list, including history and so on, using Wikipedia as one of my many sources. If you can help, or are interested at all, please contact me either on my talk page or at green_ied_dragon@hotmail.com

I own a Norwich - Pepper - and they really are lovely little dogs

Odd photo description[edit]

Ok, the second photo is cute, but I'm not sure how accurate the description is: Norwich Terriers can demonstrate many different feelings and emotions. This one is being persnickety. Persnickety? Snorgle (talk) 22:09, 11 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty sure you mean, "I'm not sure how accurate the description is." Anyway, that's what I was saying as well, but I didn't want to change it, for fear of messing something up. Mokoniki | talk 22:32, 11 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Oops, I edited my sentence so it makes sense now! I also edited most of the photo description so it just reads Norwich Terrier, as I don't think it even looked that persnickety.Snorgle (talk) 00:37, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

(sigh)It's been reverted now, for some reason. I don't want to get into an edit war, but I will ask for citations on the whole Norwich Terrier demonstrating many different feelings and emotions claim. Also, I still disagree that it looks persnickety. It looks like it's relaxed to me. Snorgle (talk) 19:09, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It was reverted by the owner of the photo. Apparently, they don't want people changing the description. Mokoniki | talk 23:43, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
What's the wikipedia view on photo descriptions? In this case, I don't think the description is particularly relevant or useful. Snorgle (talk) 22:26, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't see anything, but I'll look again, to make sure I didn't miss anything. Mokoniki | talk 17:42, 16 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Did Norwich terriers originate in Norwich, or somewhere else in England[edit]

If this isn’t told in the article, people will get confused

Are Norwich Terriers from Norwich, or somewhere else in England? Or were they named after the place[edit]

Without telling, nobody will know if they’re from Norwich or not
