Is there a connection between the "Giuseppe Farina" mentioned on this page and Giuseppe Farina? At first I thought so, but then looking at the Pininfarina web site [2] and some others [3], they refer to Battista Farina as being nicknamed 'Pinin' not 'Giuseppe'. older≠wiser 14:40, 14 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Giuseppe "Nino" Farina (1950 F1 World Champion) was Battista's nephew. According to his biog on formula1.com, he was Battista's nephew, son of Giovanni Farina, who had founded Stabilimente Farina in 1906.--Pc13 17:19, 2005 May 20 (UTC)

Pininfarina designed the body on the VW Karmann Ghia[edit]

I remember seeing the PininFarina badge on the backs of a lot of Karmann Ghias back in the day. I see no mention of it here. Am I nuts?Longinus876 (talk) 22:18, 5 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

FIAT 2300 saloon was designed by Dante Giacosa[edit]

The CEO of Pininfarina S.p.A., Mr. Paulo Pininfarina held an exclusive interview with West Coast Midnight Run™ publication (art book publications) in 2017 in which he discussed their newest projects including the iGA Tower in Istanbul. The project is in the field of Architectural Design (Pininfarina in collaboration with AECOM) and a notable step outside the traditional realm of Automotive Design for the firm. The tower and the new airport facility were slated to be commissioned in October of 2018. In the interview Mr. Paulo Pininfarina discussed the company's vision for mobility, European leadership issues and priorities including Brexit as well as his perspective on former US President Barack Obama's legacy and current US President Donald Trump.
