Dicycloverine misusage[edit]

There's a lot of trip reports from Russia and other CIS countries which describe combination of dicycloverine and paracetamol as eupphoretic and tranquilizer, but due to impossibility of finding it in blood there's no official statistics about it. It's relatively popular among various marginal groups such as young people (>25 yo) with low income. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.39.45.249 (talk) 16:43, 25 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Anxiety[edit]

I have found a large article on the Internet which describes in full details how Dicyclomine can help with Anxiety, among other things. I have added it to the article, but I'm new to Wikipedia and dont know much how to write it well, so please help me improve it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Noam111g (talkcontribs) 05:55, 7 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have changed this back to my old version, as the source is actually reliable. I repeat, the source I have found is reliable. I dont know what made you think its not, but please stop removing the fact Dicyclomine is an anxiolytic. It does help with Anxiety, end of story. If you fail to accept that fact, thats your problem, not mine. I have alot of experience with this medication, I took it myself for anxiety for many years. Please read WP:MEDRS for what constitutes a reliable source. Your source is (1) a blog post (2) on a shop's website. Your repetition that you believe the source to be reliable does not make it so. Moreover, your personal experience with a medication does not warrant the inclusion of a claim in the article. If you believe the claim to be true as you do, find a reliable source to back up the claim you've added. Kimen8 (talk) 14:00, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm searching. However, I dont like your negative attitude and rude behavior. We're trying to improve wikipedia and medications are the primary source of health these days. Anxiety is a terrible thing, and alot of people suffer it in their lives. Therefore, you cant be rude to me about this, while at the same time, trying to teach ME how to find reliable sources, as I know very well how to do so. If you want to be rude, be rude somewhere else please. Noam111g (talk) 14:18, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I was not being rude I was being terse, but I apologize. I was trying to tell you that the way that additions work is that additions need to have reliable sources. Specifically in the case of medical articles, there are the some more specific rules on what makes a source reliable. I am not saying what you're adding is false, or that you're wrong, simply that the source you're using definitely is not a reliable source and so if you want the content added, you'll need to find a suitable source for it. I'm searching, but you can be more polite. Good day. Noam111g (talk) 03:38, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
