Raimo Ilaskivi, born 26.5.1928, Dr. Pol. Sc., former Lord Mayor of Helsinki (1979-91); also MP 1962-74, MEP 1996-99; in the 60´s and 70´s mg.dir. of the Industrial Bank of Finland, Finnish Bankers´ Association and Helsinki Stock Exchange. Author of 7 books and numerous articles on economic and political issues. Decorated eg. Grand Cross of the Finnish Lion, Cdr 1 Cl of The White Rose of Finland and orders of Norway, Sweden, Germany, Spain, Jordan and Nepal; military and cicil crosses and medals.
