What exactly was Barbey's role at Balikpapan and the other operations in the Borneo campaign of 1945? I'd always been led to believe they were primarily Australian ops, with some US support in the form of LCs.Grant65 (Talk) 16:32, May 12, 2005 (UTC)

  1. The Beach parties represented a conflict between doctrine in FTP167 and reality. It illustrates the changes made to doctrine.
