  1. Discuss project structure - what pages are our primary pages of focus, what secondary subpages are needed, what are tertiary biography or other associated pages (i.e. things like jadidism, which is referenced by First East Turkistan Republic)
  2. Maybe make an open tasks page for the project (see Template:WikiProjectCSBTasks for a template)? For now, however:
  3. Expand half-finished entry for First East Turkistan Republic
  4. Expand Kashgar to include more recent history (reference First East Turkistan Republic's founding there, for example) and contemporary situation
  5. Create an article for Second East Turkistan Republic
  6. Expand (or create subpage for) the Uyghur entry to include more details on general aspects of Uyghur culture, and Uyghur religious practices (related page: Islam in China)
  7. Create a History of Xinjiang subpage, integrating material from Uyghur#Origins, the two East Turkistan Republic articles, Kashgar (which is pretty detailed up to around the 1700s), and what currently exists at Xinjiang#mapangpang, with the goal of establishing a comprehensive history
  8. Expand Xinjiang or create a sub-page to include a section on Chinese policies (pre-CCP, current restrictions on religious practices, influx of Han immigration, etc) towards the region and the Uyghurs
  9. Disambiguate East Turkistan (the political idea) from the East Turkistan Republics (historical entities) and Xinjiang (territory)
  10. Merge Uyghuristan with East Turkistan (the political idea)
  11. Either turn East Turkistan into or otherwise create a page on Uyghur nationalism (or "separatism"; not sure as to the best NPOV term)
  12. Create a page for the Uyghur diaspora - in Turkey, Central Asia, US, etc
  13. Copyedit Fragrant Concubine - characters for Chinese and Uyghur name; a picture of the tomb would be nice
  14. Copyedit Rebiya Kadeer - again, name in Chinese and Uyghur characters and a picture would be good
