Peter Welleman[edit]

I appreciate the beauty of this Wikipedians illustrations, very talented. But I doubt this relatively unknown artist deserves an article in our main namespace. I have tried several times to contact the author (by mail as well) but to no avail.

  • Comment: Is this person a Wikipedian? I can find no evidence of this. His illustrations are used here on (perhaps shaky IMO) grounds of fair use. No vote at this stage. Andrewa 16:41, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete, not vanity, but I suspect autobiography and advertising. Wyss 18:00, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. I also suspect advertising. [1] Nice illustrations though. -- TomPreuss 19:03, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. This person IS a wikipedian, User:Pwelleman. He is the one who is uploading his own photos and labling them fair use (I have spoken with him via email and his talk page). He also has nothing on his user page, which IMO would be a perfect place for the content in this article. It probably is the case of a new wikipedian not knowing where to put his personal info. I suggest archiving this page's content at his user page and then deleting. -Lommer 20:02, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • A truly talented artist; I hope we can say something notable about him soon. Delete for now. [[User:GRider|GRider\talk]] 22:06, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • I agree with Lommer: Move this page's content to his user page and then delete. P Ingerson 00:50, 10 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Thanks for the nice remarks about my talents, I put content in the user page User:Pwelleman.
