Area[edit]
The National Statistical Coordination Board shows that the area of Lanao del Sur is 1,349,437 hectares (13,494.37 km2), which would make it the 2nd largest province in the country (smaller than Palawan but larger than Isabela). This value is copied even by other government department, making it appear official, but, unless every map is wrong, Lanao del Sur is obviously not nearly this large. This number is the total of all municipalities and cities, therefore we must conclude that the values given for the municipalities and cities are also erroneous (either estimates, wrong units of measurement, or order of magnitude error). -- P 1 9 9 ✉ 21:08, 16 March 2013 (UTC)
