I hate this so much right now[edit]

I hate this page! Why? I mentioned it at Talk: Beaverton, Oregon as an example of a useless article that had no business being in Wikipedia! Then some twit, instead of contacting me & trying to convince me otherwise, decided to create this article.

Nothing of consequence has happened at this high school. It is unexceptional as an example of architecture. No one of consequence has been on its staff, nor has graduated from it. (Although I understand its alumni include drug addicts, Republicans, & gun runners, and some credible human beings. And me, despite almost flunking out of math in my junior year.)

I'd be happy if this article were nuked from the face of Wikipedia, & its orignial poster banned. Barring that, howsbout if Sunset High School (Portland) is moved to Sunset High School (Beaverton), which would make far more geographic sense.

>>>> Sunset High School is in Portland. It adds confusion to say it's from a city that it's not. If you are unhappy that Sunset High School is considered to be in Portland, write to the people responsible for drawing ridiculous boundaries. (Reply posted Feb 8, 2004)

Okay, rant over. I'm feeling better -- llywrch 00:14, 29 Nov 2003 (UTC)

I'm confused llywrch. Are you referring to Sunset High School (Portland) or Sunset High School here? Martin 00:30, 29 Nov 2003 (UTC)
No, I am confused...why is having a school in Wikipedia SUCH a big deal? Whether or not some people feel that there is no "important" people graduating from it...I mean, I would probably consider you as "important" enough to voice your opinion (whether it be on a school or not, especially since YOU yourself went there Llywrch), but that is beside the point. Point is, POV is supposed to stay out of the Wikipedia if I am not mistaken, and as long as facts are correct and NPOV, I see no need to even opt this site into VfD. >>>> Schools have unique legacies that deserve their own articles. Period. (Reply posted Feb 8, 2004)

Anyway, I moved the school that we're not discussing here to Beaverton School District. Martin 15:18, 29 Nov 2003 (UTC)
