Looks like hoax:

  1. Google search returns 2 links [1] both from Urban Dictionary.
  2. Director is one of main characters.
  3. Films are claimed to be recent.
  4. Article claims: Certain characters were the inspiration for other characters in major motion pictures, including Dectective Ohls as the model for Johnny Depp's portrayal of Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Carribean., yet neither of the links is related to PotC nor can this be verified by another source than the article.

  • If it's not on IMDB it's not a notable film, delete. --fvw* 12:48, 2004 Dec 17 (UTC)
  • Delete, and look seriously at the linked jokes at Ben Stubbs, Alex Partridge and Ian Kimpton. Andrewa 16:48, 17 Dec 2004 (UTC)
    • Good catch; I've tagged them all for speedy. Samaritan 19:31, 17 Dec 2004 (UTC)
    • Really, given the ridiculous articles for each of those three, Slapjoy and Monkfish should be speedied as an obvious hoax/falsity too. Samaritan 19:33, 17 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete for the reasons above. [[User:GRider|GRider\talk]] 17:58, 17 Dec 2004 (UTC)

  • Was blanked by some anon, is now speedied, for non-verifiability and linking to hoaxes. [[User:MacGyverMagic|Mgm|(talk)]] 08:29, Dec 20, 2004 (UTC)
  • Neither "nonverifiability" nor "linking to hoaxes", or even being a hoax, is a reason for speedy deletion. Dr Zen 06:07, 21 Dec 2004 (UTC)
