About the album[edit]

The paragraph currently reads, "After releasing Viva Hate in March 1988, Morrissey modified his method of releasing music. Instead of choosing to produce an immediate follow-up album, he decided to release a string of independent singles in the hopes of achieving success in that market." In actuality, the process of releasing independent singles between albums dated back to The Smiths. That's why Louder Than Bombs and The World Won't Listen were viable compilations. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alainsane (talkcontribs) 02:29, 30 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reference in popular culture[edit]

In The National's song "Pink Rabbits" it has the verse, "Everybody was gone / I was staring down the street / 'cause I was trying not to crack up / Bona Drag was still on / now I only think about Los Angeles when the sound kicks out". 50.52.104.122 (talk) 02:56, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
