Good luck!

"Doctor who?" John Bowman[edit]

Are you sure that he calls himself that? I know Chang Lee signed John Smith on the Seventh Doctor's medical history sheet, but I can't remember when the Eighth Doctor calls himself Bowman. -khaosworks 03:35, 23 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Yes; either he or Grace introduces him as such at the party for the unveiling of the Berylium clock. I'm pretty sure it was him... Guybrush 04:44, 23 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Hellboy and the Cthulhu Mythos[edit]

Hello. I just took a look at the References to the Cthulhu Mythos article and noticed something. Don't you think the description about Hellboy which you added there doesn't really belong to the article? It is valid, but it talks about the premise of Hellboy's stories as a whole, yet it gets distant of the article's scope, which is the Cthulhu Mythos. This doesn't really happen with the other entries. I guess regarding Hellboy, further info about it can be found on its article.

I am familiar with some of the comics, and I've read a story where Lovecraft is indeed mentioned, so it's indeed true, but I think that entry should have more about "Hellboy and the Mythos" and less about just "Hellboy". I was actually thinking about adding that entry to the article, but you beat me to it. =P

Carry on.--Kaonashi 03:39, 28 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Thanks for pointing that out; I thought it might be justified explaining his origins, but on a second reading you're right, it does deviate from the purpose quite a bit. I'll cut it down. Guybrush 03:52, 28 Dec 2004 (UTC)

It looks better now. Thanks for understanding. =] --Kaonashi 04:20, 28 Dec 2004 (UTC)

No problem. I like to think I don't often go too far, but it's nice to know people will reign me in if I do. ;) Guybrush 04:02, 29 Dec 2004 (UTC)

The Great Mouse Detective[edit]

We would appreciate your insights into the topic currently being discussed at Talk:The Great Mouse Detective. --Paul A 07:17, 16 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Remember to mark your edits as minor when, but only when, they genuinely are (see Wikipedia:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one, or vice versa, is condsidered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that an edit of a page that is spelling corrections, formatting, and minor rearranging of text should be flagged as a 'minor edit'.

BTW, have you checked out Wikipedia:Australian Wikipedians' notice board or Wikipedia:WikiProject Melbourne yet? :) pfctdayelise 13:21, 9 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads up; I've been marking most things I've done as minor, and it seems many of them aren't! I have checked out the Melbourne project, though not found anything I can contribute much to yet; the noticeboard is a new one, I'll check it out. -- Guybrush 14:16, 9 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:AClimateAffair.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:AClimateAffair.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. AfD nomination of Dick Smith_Foods[edit]

I've nominated Dick Smith_Foods, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Dick Smith_Foods satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dick Smith_Foods and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Dick Smith_Foods during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. → AA (talkcontribs) — 11:05, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Meatbee[edit]

A tag has been placed on Meatbee, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Deranged bulbasaur 01:28, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Loudr[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Loudr, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Ways to improve Night Terrace[edit]

Hello, Guybrush,

Thank you for creating Night Terrace.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

The sources for this article are the BBC Radio 4 podcast, the show's own website, and the website of the body that gave them an award. The first two aren't independent, and the third one, while independent of the show itself, isn't independent of the award - awards are generally only considered notable if they are picked up by independent media. To show that this show is notable, it would be good to add some reliable, independent, secondary sources giving the show significant coverage - a couple of reviews in reliable publications ought to do the job, if you can find any. Cheers

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Girth Summit}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Ways to improve Night Terrace[edit]

Hello, Guybrush,

Thank you for creating Night Terrace.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

I've removed the "Associate Producers" section, as it was unambiguously unwarranted detail, but the Guest and Additional voices sections should be significantly cut back or removed. Generally speaking, if a specific cast member is not mentioned in any secondary coverage of the subject, it's probably not WP:DUE to include them.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Rosguill}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Feedback Request[edit]

Hi there! I have recently made a request for an assessment of the article Puppetry of the Penis on WikiProject Theatre. I have been editing this article for over a month, adding almost 3000 words, new sections, an infobox, media and more references for verifiability. I noticed you were a very active (and helpful) editor of WikiProject Theatre, and was wondering if you had the time if you could have a look at the article and provide me any feedback. Any general feedback would be much appreciated and possibly an assessment of the article for importance and quality. Thank you very much. Rubyredgirl (talk) 10:18, 11 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
