As a matter of fact, I do live in Prince George (I guess the idea of exact count of variouse chain resteraunts, etc. kind of gave it away, haha.) In fact, I know I forgot a major park, I'll be sure to add that in next chance I get. I've been sorta learning as I go with the whole Wiki posting language. I've learned every in and out of BBS coding, so I thought I might expand on my computer language skills by attempting this style while contributing what little knowledge I do have. Unlike the idea of a blind man finding an elephant for Wikipedia, my experiance so far has to be the same thing as the scene from Don Hertzfeldt "Rejected" where it shows a guy with bunny ears staring upwards with his mouth and eyes wide open in shock just before he falls appart. In other words, it was more intimidating in some respects just by the sheer volume of knowledge. I had actually played around a little on the Uncyclopedia (which has to have been the funniest thing since Whose Line Is It Anyway I've seen) and had some fun making up stuff in the process. Do you live in Prince George perchance as well?

Yes, in fact I live in the Hart Highlands with my parents. For the last two years I have attended UNBC, and in September I'll be going back to CNC to get a diploma in GIS. In the interim, I'm working at LiveBridge. And you?

Oh, and I've found that it's usually pretty easy to learn about using the Wiki markup language, even without reading the help pages. Just find an article with an example of the effect or layout that you want to duplicate, and click the edit this page link. The text in the editing field shows you the markup that went into the article you're reading. This method won't tell you everything, but it's fairly useful if you want to know how someone else has done something. For example, if you use it here, you'll discover that I used a colon to indent this paragraph and a pair of three single quotes to make text bold. Cheers. —RadRafe | t

As a matter of fact, I learned the bold text at the uncyclopedia. It was the first thing I learned. I'm still trying to master the whole link thing, but I think I got it (for the PG page) In fact, the whole "Edit This Page" was probably the best way I learn the language. However, I don't know any more code shortcuts for the time being. I just copy the basic code and immitate it essentually. I have a feeling that once I get the basics down, I'll still need to go to the help pages for the java stuff as I probably owuld have had a hard time otherwise with the signature thing if you hadn't told me. I'm thinking that the buttons will help me with the rest of the very basics. :)

Yeah, I live in the bowl area. I guess I won't be seeing you next semester at UNBC as it appears as though we just missed each other. Rats, oh well. Currently going into my second year there, so I'm mastering the ropes of the library there, haha.

I worked at Livebridge one Summer, but I'm taking the Summer off this year. I got several personal projects on the go right now and this seems to vary the routine a little. I'm currently studying English for the time being and plan to see how far I can go in that field before professers are forced to toss me out of the classrooms for sheer nonsense, hahaha. I guess GIS is different from CIS
