What negotiations?[edit]

The article says

In May of that year, (probably 1991 from the context, comment by romanm) upon disembarking from an airplane en route to beginning negotiations, he declared, "The hour of Europe has dawned."

What negotiations were that? The war in Slovenia happened at the end of June and beginning of July 1991. --romanm (talk) 12:40, 30 Mar 2005 (UTC)
