Flag[edit]

The flag spells "Rome" as "Reme" which is not a place. Additionally, all pictures I see online of official use of the flag use the seal on the state with yellow background, not the Erie canal version. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Francophilique (talk • contribs) 18:42, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

File:Oneida County, NY Flag.svg was created based on File:Us-ny-on.gif. That sources to [1], which dates the flag as 2002. So it may be an older version of the flag.

I've notified the Commons user who created the SVG version of the typo and asked if they have any interest in creating an updated version. -Apocheir (talk) 20:49, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
