Is the PCEngine in the article the same as PC Engine? I wasn't sure enough to change the link. Joyous 00:05, Oct 30, 2004 (UTC)
I'm sure... but this port seems to be vapoware. Polluks 20:08, 2004 Nov 25 (UTC)
the pce port was real, but just like the nes, gba, gbc and gp32 ports it was never published, and i lost the sourcecode before it could make it into the 1.x main tree. the dreamcast and playstation ports however, were planned, but never existed. --62.143.152.25 (talk) 18:58, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
oh, and i don't think it belongs into the RTOS cathegory. contiki uses cooperative multitasking and is anything but realtime :) --62.143.152.25 (talk) 19:01, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There is support for real-time scheduling: http://www.sics.se/~adam/contiki/docs-uipv6/a00377.html Rrelf (talk) 21:21, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tandy Coco[edit]

I removed the claim that a port was being worked on for the Tandy Color Computer. According to the guy that was working on it, James Dessart, he has given up, as of Mon Jun 9 2003. He left this message on Usenet saying so: [1] Beyond the classroom 04:55, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Differences with other OS's?[edit]

What are the differences with other OS's, like say Window, GNU/Linux, BeOS, Mac OS X, ... ? What does it sacrifice to be able to deliver its advantages? Shinobu (talk) 18:43, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

1.x vs 2.x[edit]

I thought I remembered reading that there were significant differences between the older 1.x series and the current 2.x series. If someone knows more about this, something should be noted here. ⇔ ChristTrekker 18:52, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
