Umm, this article needs sources. Badly. I'm going to remove nearly all of the content here, as WP:BLP compels that action. If cited, as I suspect most of it can be, it should be readded to the article. Newton. The TN Encyclopedia of History and Culture contains articles on John and Harold, Sr, and gives his name as John Newton Ford. I believe NJ, their father, is Newton John Ford: at least I know that his N also stands for Newton. rags (talk) 23:08, 10 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The Harold Ford article gives their father's name as Newton Jackson Ford. Harold calls one of his sons Newton Jake. Would his name be Newton Jackson, after his grandfather? Seems likely. rags (talk) 23:53, 10 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

OK, it's been a decade since Tennessee Waltz. I doubt it's still true that one person has yet to be tried. And who was that mysterious defendant, alleged bribor or acceptor of bribes?
