This is indeed very UK-centric at the moment. Also, it should be merged with public broadcasting. Perhaps most of the information here should be moved to form a new section named something like "Public broadcasting in the UK" in that other article. --Jonik 20:53, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)

The above comment refers to the version of this page that resided at "Public service broadcasting", which was later merged into public broadcasting. I have unmerged it in order that the page may e a destination when refering to PSB for commercial british channels as linking to public broadcasting for them would be wrong.
