About Epping Line (the image)

I drew it from the Melways as best I could.
While I was in OpenOffice I worked as if it were 10 percent.
The lines are 0.4 cm long each, and may not be to scale or even show the 'right' direction. I just thought north and west. In particular, stations may appear further away than they really are. I am sure I need to do some 'flipping around' too so that Rushall is the start and the line really does go TO Epping.
Now how do I make Epping Line smaller without compromising readibility, or indeed image quality?
Other features of the image include Zone 1 and Zone 2 colouring.
