Does a band that's sold 250-300 copies really merit an article? Salasks 01:45, Aug 2, 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete: I sold 15,000, and I'm not worthy of an article by my own standards. 250-300 is medium for a local band that never hits the majors. Band vanity. Geogre 03:58, 2 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. That's right geogre, you were in a punk-rock band. But 15,000 sold! -- orthogonal 06:02, 2 Aug 2004 (UTC)
    • And 600 given away! All of those immediately taken to the used record store and traded for cash, I'm sure. Geogre 14:42, 2 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • I can't help but wonder how many of these albums are out there with little notches cut into the jewel cases. If one ever turns up in a thrift store, I'll let you know how it sounds. Delete in the meantime, and kudos to Geogre for unwavering adherence to standards. Really. I admit that I am really impressed by 15,000 sales, however. • keep. There is enough room for this type of information in Wikipedia. And GeOgre should list his band too. Arevich 18:17, 4 Aug 2004 (UTC)
    • I strongly disagree. Delete. Neither band should be listed; just because we can include something does not mean we should. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: a lack of standards will spell death for this wonderful project. Our standard is notability. --Ardonik 21:12, 2004 Aug 5 (UTC)
