Suggest merge with O'Neal--Wetman 11:26, 31 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Good suggestion. Merge done. I also did some Disambiguation cleanup. You can help! --Stijn Vermeeren 12:36, 18 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You may wish to go to Talk:O'Neill_wetsuit if wetsuits are your interest. This article regards the traditional Irish title of The O'Neill. Fred Bauder 17:37, Apr 2, 2004 (UTC)

Someone has created a separate page about the Ó Neill Dynasty Today (and which I just cleaned up a bit and wikified), but this page doesn't (yet) link to it. Or, perhaps it's unnecessary and should be merged into this one. GJK 13:24, 24 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

o'neill in france[edit]

--your file is not complete: you forget about a huge O'Neill branch settled in France.you should check and try to fullfill your data. thank you. From earl of tyrone

Someone must be new to Wikipedia, and still getting used to that whole "do your own research and editing" idea...--Signor Giuseppe 20:29, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Most Notably?[edit]

I definitely admire the sentiment behind making a "most notably" sexion, but I have a strong desire to add Denny O'Neill and Kevin O'Neill to it, just because my specialty happens to be comics, and not, say, Northern Irish political history. I think it's pretty impossible t'have an NPOV sexion of this sort, and that it should be abolished and its members re-merged with the others.--Signor Giuseppe 20:29, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree it's not ideal, and unless there are clear guidelines on who to include, not NPOV. I looked at the quality, length of the articles, and at the what links here section, to assess their importance, but it's still not neutral of course. If you want to remove the section, do so, but please also give other ideas to make the list more accessible. (Edit: I would have no problem with adding Dennis O'Neill to the list, but as you said, we probably should find a better solution as this Most Notably list.) --Stijn Vermeeren 07:24, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Redirected Other Spellings[edit]

I redirected and combined the other variations in spelling to this one page. Since there are so many variations, and people may be confused as how to find a person, I thought it best to combine them all in one easy to find place. XANDERLIPTAK 23:12, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
