Disambiguation[edit]

I can't say I was expecting to find this! I was searching for Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI), but thought that I might get results about MRI scanners. But I've never heard of this 'Mri' thing before at all. Would it be worth someone creating a disambiguation page, because MRI is the acronym for several things (Member of the Royal Institute is another that springs to mind).

Agreed that it's silly to have this as the default hit for mri 24.181.29.106

This should not be the default hit for Mri.

Yes, that this is the first result when searching for MRI is total foolishness. Much as I appreciate Cherryh's writing, I hardly think that this is what most people are looking for when they punch in 'mri'.

I noticed that this fictional alien species was linked to by less than 6 total pages, whereas Magnetic resonance imaging was linked to be scores and scores of pages. It only seemed logical to move this page to a more suitable title, and redirect mri to Magnetic resonance imaging. --Porqin 20:19, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Proper names and titles[edit]

Shouldn't "mri" be "Mri"? -- Whane 02:57, 24 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
