Comments[edit]

Despite adding the information, I feel that the list of minor characters has no place in Wikipedia. For information, the list was

Romans: Crismus Bonus (centurion); Marcus Ginantonicus (aide); Caligula Minus, Tullius Octopus, Gracchus Sextilius, (legionaries)

name origins[edit]

I'm new to this. Some of the names seem to be English from the get-go. What would the French "original" of Crismus Bonus be? Noel prime? WilliamSommerwerck (talk) 23:03, 20 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Comics B-Class Assesment required[edit]

This article needs the B-Class checklist filled in to remain a B-Class article for the Comics WikiProject. If the checklist is not filled in by 7th August this article will be re-assessed as C-Class. The checklist should be filled out referencing the guidance given at Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment/B-Class criteria. For further details please contact the Comics WikiProject. Valiant[edit]

"Valiant comics saved #59 (16 November 1963) carried a British version of Asterix with just the names changed which ran for a time, on the back page (so it was in colour). It was called "Little Fred and Big Ed" and they lived in a British village called Nevergiveup, the druid was named Hokus Pokus and the chief Roman was called Pompus." --The word "saved" seems wrong here. Perhaps it should say "issue"? Also, I am curious about the phrase "just the names changed", considering that it sounds as though a great deal more than just the names was changed - for a start, the locations! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.160.84.234 (talk) 23:58, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
