from VfD:

This article now has a redirection to assembly, which incorrectly suggests to the reader, when they find a link, that they'll be able to read an article on the subject: National Assembly of Hungary is obviously not identical with assembly itself.

  • I've taken a quick whack at rewriting this into a real article. Keep that and expand it. --DMG413 02:32, 5 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Új Kezdet in LMP[edit]

@KIENGIR: Regarding the edit adding Új Kezdet to the infobox, an explaination: In the article for the Knesset, the infobox lists parties who form fractions with different parties. For example, Kulanu is legally seperate from Likud, but in the Knesset Kulanu is considered part of Likud. This predecent can also be used for Új Kezdet, which is legally a seperate party and simply forms a parliamentary group with LMP. Krisztina Hohn is the leader of Új Kezdet, and LMP calls her "leader of Új Kezdet and member of the LMP faction", thus implying she is not a member of LMP but only of its parliamentary faction. Again, please do not confuse Knesset article with this one. Two different countries, with different rules. As I explained, in the Hungarian parliament factions exist and independents, not third option. You need 5 representatives to form a faction, below that you are officially independent, regardless which party member you are. The representative we are discussing is member of the LMP faction. The LMP link has nothing to with this, it could be like leader of McDonalds Hungary and member of the LMP fraction, or anything. Irrelevant.(KIENGIR (talk) 18:46, 26 October 2020 (UTC))[reply]
Kristina Hohn is not a member of LMP. MatryoshkaNL (talk) 16:05, 27 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
But the parlamentiary faction of it.(KIENGIR (talk) 08:18, 29 October 2020 (UTC))[reply]
Just noticed that this very page has an instance of parties within a fraction being listed seperately: the 16 members of the KDNP are not members of Fidesz, but are listed seperate within "Fidesz-KDNP group". LMP and ÚK is the same thing. MatryoshkaNL (talk) 18:38, 29 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
.:::Is is not the same, since Fidesz and KDNP participated in the elections as party-alliance (thus had to complete 10% in order to enter the Parliament), and both Fidesz and KDNP is listed under Fidesz-KDNP. ÚK only later entered into the faction, etc.(KIENGIR (talk) 07:53, 30 October 2020 (UTC))[reply]
