Twin Towns[edit]

Added a table for twin towns. Radiofoot89 (talk) 03:54, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo Radiofoot89, nice table, this is the official Site. Where did you find Oro-Station Canada? --Curo (talk) 20:53, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Name[edit]

The information relating to the "Bergisch" part of the name contradicts the German Wikipedia entry, which I judge to be more accurate. According to this, and to most local literature, the prefix "Bergisch" was added in 1863 specifically to distinguish the town from Mönchengladbach. Whether it comes directly from the Counts of Berg or from the region to which they gave their name (the Bergisches Land) comes down to the same thing in the end. But it clearly means "Gladbach in the Bergisches Land". Escoville (talk) 10:05, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
