Jean le Rond d'Alembert

Hi Pontauxchats. Happy New 2004. I hope your correction of d'Alembert's birth date is correct. And I guess that it was you ho have changed also at Slovene Wikipedia (sl:). Thank you for it. I'll correct also the day 16th november. And BTW this is one of my most favourite articles.

It would also be fine if someone can translate his works. I've put some of them to Slovene Wikipedia from French Wikipedia, but I can't speak French.

Best regards. --XJamRastafire 01:00, 4 Jan 2004 (UTC)

Hi Rasta ! Yes it was me. My correction is based on the dates given by l'Académie française, which is the reference in this domain. Note that most of the informations given on the french page should be correct, cause Jean le Rond d'Alembert was focused as the article of the week of the 11.24.2003, so that many wikipedians corrected this page. But I'm really sorry, cause my english is really too bad to be used for a good translation. You can try to find some help on the french page of discussion. Hope you'll find what you're looking for. --Pontauxchats 14:30, 6 Jan 2004 (UTC)

Just BTW (I don't mean to butt in here), I am currently in the process of translating that page from the french wikipedia. I plan to translate every aricle-de-la-semaine to english, provided the english article is a stub. --snoyes 14:40, 6 Jan 2004 (UTC)

Bonne idée ! :o)
What does BTW mean, please ? (je ne veux pas avoir l'air con plus longtemps...) :o) --Pontauxchats 13:58, 7 Jan 2004 (UTC)

BTW = By The Way MihaiC

Greetings, I have added the information required for one of the pictures on the Karachi page, it was from a friend of mine. The other picture I uploaded came from a free-use website, but I honestly cannot remember it at the moment. DigiBullet
