Lead nationality[edit]

@ShqipeMaster: You have tried to remove the legal citizenship that Mother Teresa held from the lead and elsehwere multiple times, this is disruptive.

Per WP:ETHNICITY and WP:NATIONALITY we make due mention of the actual held citizenship, in this case India, especially so when it is notable for the person's work, she was canonized as "Mother Teresa of Calcutta" after all. Your removals that hinge on ethnicity actually go against policies of the ethnic marking of people by removing her citizenship, and sources which do make due mention of her Indian nationality as a basic descriptive (e.g. [1]).

Please desist from disrupting a WP:STABLE article as such by engaging in bad faith WP:EDITWARRING, claiming basic facts to be "false". Gotitbro (talk) 14:00, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

She was also named honorary American citizen, yet this isn't mentioned. ShqipeMaster (talk) 14:52, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
We never go by honorary citizenships and a mention as to its exclusion to further your POV-filled exclusion is facetious. Moreover your edits fly in the face of every general reference source out there (click the one above you for instance).
You are clearly engaging in ethnic WP:POVPUSH (with serious WP:BATTLEGROUND behaviour) here without reading any of the relevant WP policies or criteria. I would suggest you desist and read up on the policies and sources, lest your editing be restricted. Gotitbro (talk) 23:22, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's reasonable for that to be excluded. For the intro, I would prefer something like "Albanian born".

Mother Teresa is ethnically Albanian and it should be portrayed as so. Remove the Albanian-Indian, and leave only the Albanian part. 185.204.59.189 (talk) 16:34, 17 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Üsküp in infobox[edit]

I looked in the history and can't find any discussion but this is a CT and highly contentious issue so I don't want to make a unilateral change. But it seems weird the infobox uses Üsküp whereas the article uses Skopje throughout without mention of Üsküp anywhere. Seems to me the infobox and article should be consistent so if we're going to use Skopje in the article, we'll use it in the infobox too. Nil Einne (talk) 18:00, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please remove link for "India" per MOS:GEOLINK from the infobox. ferretivo (talk) 03:59, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
