Please work on the Denton welch/Temp page, not on the Denton welch page. The Denton welch page will be deleted in a few days and the Temp page moved over it. We need to delete the oriignal page to get the copyright violation out of the article's history. RickK 07:02, Mar 18, 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for starting a Denton Welch article. --Chips Critic 03:07, 21 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Notability of HC Author[edit]

A tag has been placed on HC Author, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. LittleOldMe 15:55, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I notice that you have tagged the article with {{hangon}} but that you have not stated your reasons on the article's talk page yet. I would urge you to do so soon or an administrator may still delete the article. Regards LittleOldMe 16:21, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I added my comments. I would appreciate it if you would read some of HC's work before deleting "Popular Elitism"[1]. Golden Eternity

Hi, the reason why I deleted the article is because it met our criteria for speedy deletion, the article fails to offer any reliable sources to make them notable to meet the biography guidlines. By thisI mean non trivial published works such as newspaper articles on the author. Even though the article had the {{hangon}} tag, I still deleted it as the article is not likely to meet our criteria for inclusion. Hope that explains it Ryanpostlethwaite contribs/talk 20:32, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Would you like the article undeleting and putting in your userspace so you can work on it from there without it getting deleted? Ryanpostlethwaite contribs/talk 14:55, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes that would be great. thanks. --Golden Eternity 15:01, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Article can now be found at User:Golden Eternity/HC Author, hope that helps Ryanpostlethwaite contribs/talk 15:06, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
