In the table it says one of the actions is flexion of the knee. In the text, under Actions, however it says extension of knee. Which one is correct? I believe it should be flexion of knee, but not sure. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.200.184.19 (talk) 12:32, 1 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This[edit]

This is total trivia, however: I remember reading that the sartorius used to also be known als the "Custos virginum", the "Protector of Virginity" because of the way it helps the legs to cross. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any reference to this on the Web except for a German article http://www.m-press.rmc.de/Experten/Z701/Position.html of questionable repute where it is mentioned in passing. I'll try to get access to a good medical dictionary and verify this. --Wolf Deunan 02:05, Nov 14, 2004 (UTC)

Unclear citation style?[edit]

This article seems to follow an unclear citation style, so I'm taggng it as such. However, I'm not very familiar at all with how medical articles work, if they're different from other subjects on Wikipedia. Some references are encased in reference tags, while others use the parenthetical method of referencing, and these latter ones are never anywhere clearly mentioned.
