Supposedly, she once said, "You have come here and paid twenty-five cents to see a fool; I receive seventy-five dollars, and see a whole houseful of fools." Should this be put in the article? Does anyone know if the attribution is accurate?

I have located my copy of Riedlinger. He quotes it, and cites a newspaper account of the event. I'll be including it and much more, plus fixing several mistakes.--192.35.35.34 13:47, 16 Feb 2005 (UTC)
